Chocolate recipe

Do you want to make chocolates like professional chefs just at your home ?

Hi there! I'll be sharing with you "The art of Chocolate Making" and here is the basic method of making chocolates at home so that you can gift them to your friends, family or special ones.

Ingredients

A Compound Chocolate Bar (usually weighs 500 gms)
(as per your taste and preference you may select from Dark/Milk/White Chocolate)

Method
  1. Break the compound Chocolate bar in a microwave safe bowl.
  2.  Keep the bowl in microwave, after a minute stir the chocolate.
  3. Keep repeating this until the chocolate is liquid consistency as shown in image.
  4. Put the liquid chocolate in the chocolate moulds to give it a desired shape and pat the mould down to remove extra bubble from the moulds.
  5. Keep the mould in refrigerator to let it set (for around 15-20 min).
  6. Remove from refrigerator and gently get it onto a plate or platter.
  7. Wrap the chocolates in Colored foil papers and store in cool and dry place.

If you don't have microwave, no worries you can still use double boiler method to melt the chocolate..
  1. Chop the chocolate compound bar in a steel bowl.
  2. Fill a pan with water partially and heat the water till it begins to boil.
  3. Once it has reached to the point, reduce the heat and put the bowl of chocolate over the pan without letting it touch the base of the pan.
  4. Keep stirring the chocolate and gradually it will start melting.

NOTE - Kindly check that your utensils or moulds do not contain any moisture as it affects the shine of the chocolates.

Your chocolates are ready! Please share your Feedback in the comments below and let me know if you have any queries.

  2. This is actually a nice thing to hear, especially around the holidays. A local roofing companies in corpus christi is giving a deserving family a free roof. They are handouts to completely replace someone's bad roof. They are looking for a special contender, somebody sick or elderly or somebody who has served the country. They plan to select a deserving family by the next month.
